What's Happening @ the Appleton Public Library
Believe it or not August has arrived, and with it the dog days of summer. It’s time to savor the warm temps, sparkling sun, and enjoy a great book too. We do have a couple events scheduled at the Appleton Public Library. Sharpie Art for Teens in grades 5-12 will be offered on Wednesday, August 8th at 6:30p.m. Stop by the Appleton Public Library to register and check out a sample.
New Reads: “Lincoln’s Last Trial” by Dan Abrams and David Fisher is about the murder case that propelled Lincoln into his presidency. , “Lost Creed” by Alex Kava has Ryder Creed on a journey of discovery that is very personal. , “The House at Saltwater Point” by Colleen Coble is the next lavender Tides novel. , “River to Redemption” by Ann H. Gabbart is a historical fiction novel of one woman’s stand for freedom.

Tuesday, August 21st @ 1:30-3p.m. is Adult coloring with colored pencils/markers and coloring books provided.
Monday, August 27th First day of school .
Monday, August 27th @ 5p.m Coffee, cookies, and chat Book club, book pick is “Miracle at the High Grounds Café” by Max Lucado.
Thursday, August 30th @ 1-3p.m, Lynette Nelson retirement celebration.
Register your child age 0-5 for our 1000 books before Kindergarten program. Read books and earn prizes while enjoying your time together.
