What's Happening @ the Appleton Public Library

February is almost here we continue our Reading is Snow much Fun Winter Reading Program for adults which started January 1st and runs through March 31st, 2018.. If interested stop by and let us register you. Registration starts now for our upcoming Build Your Own Book Buddy Adventure program on February 10th at 10:30a.m. This event is for children age 0-7or a 1st grader. We will be reading stories about dogs, choosing our very own stuffed toy dog to take home, and Mary Ann Anderson will be here with her therapy dog Sarge! Fun for everyone!

New Reads: “Troubled Waters” by Susan May Warren brings us the next Montana Rescue Series novel with just that right mix of romance and suspense. , Amy Woods continues the Tearoom mysteries series with the latest novel entitled “A Monumental Mystery”. “You’re Gonna Love Me’ by Robin Lee Hatcher brings us a novel about second chances after tragedy. , Book 2 in the Heart of Alaska series is out by Traicie Peterson and Kimberly Woodhouse and it is entitled “Out of Ashes” .

Monday, February 5th-13th Make and Take Crafts , Stop by afternoons to make valentines.  Children & Adults invited

Wednesday, February 7th-4-6p.m.-Computer class with Steve Sterud.

Saturday, February 10th, 10:30a.m.-Build your Book Buddy Adventure for age 0-7 years of age, where you pick, stuff, name you’re very own dog. Registration is required.

Tuesday, February 13th, 6:30p.m. Book art, we will be making a wreath out of book pages. Please call to register.

Wednesday, February 14th, Happy Valentine’s Day! Stop by for something sweet.

Monday, February 19th, CLOSED for Presidents day holiday.

Tuesday, February 20th @ 1:30-3p.m. is Adult coloring with colors and coloring books provided.


Wednesday, February 21st-4-6p.m.-Computer class with Steve Sterud .

Monday, February 26th is Coffee, cookies, and chat Book club at 5p.m. We are reading "WILD" by Cheryl Strayed. Pick up a copy today.

Wednesday, February 28th @ 3:30-4:30p.m. is Lego Club for grades 2-6. Please call to register.

Register your child age 0-5 for our 1000 books before Kindergarten program. Read books and earn prizes while enjoying your time together.

We are going green as of May 15th, 2013!

The Appleton Public Library, a member of the Pioneerland Library system, is going green effective May 15, 2013. What does that mean? We are collecting e-mail addresses from our library patrons and sending out overdue notices via e-mail rather than through regular U.S. mail. Please make sure we have the most current e-mail address for you on your next visit to the library.
