 What's Happening @ the Appleton Public Library


This week is Computer class with Steve Sterud on Wednesday, April 4th from 4-6p.m. Stop on by with any and all of your computer questions and Steve will help you. No pre-registration is needed. Next week is National Library week April 8th-14th and we have many fun and exciting events happening. Stop by and check in with us at the Appleton Public Library.


 New Reads: “The Bags of Tricks Affair’ by Bill Pronzini brings us the next Carpenter and Quineannon novel., “The Darling Dahlias and the Unlucky Clover” by Susan Wittig Albert is the lasts in the Darling Dahlias series. ,”The Third Victim’ by Phillip Margolin is filled with twists and turns that will keep you up until the midnight hour. , “If I Live” by Terri Blackstock continues the If I run series with this book 3 volume.

National Library Week-April 8th-14th-variety of activities all week.


Friday, April 13th 10:30a.m. Story time with stories, songs, and a fun craft.


Saturday, April  21st 10:30a.m. Story time with stories, songs, and a fun craft.


Tuesday, April 17th -1:30-3p.m. is Adult coloring with colors and coloring books provided.


Tuesday, April 17th at 6:30p.m. is our Spring Door Hanger Class. Supplies and materials provided. Pre-registration is required.


Wednesday, April 18th-4-6p.m.-Computer class with Steve Sterud .


Monday, April 30th is Coffee, cookies, and chat Book club at 5p.m. We are reading ""Once upon a Blue Moon Lodge" by Lorna Landvik.


Wednesday, April 25th @ 3:30-4:30p.m. is Lego Club for grades 2-6. Please call to register.


Register your child age 0-5 for our 1000 books before Kindergarten program. Read books and earn prizes while enjoying your time together.

We are going green as of May 15th, 2013!

The Appleton Public Library, a member of the Pioneerland Library system, is going green effective May 15, 2013. What does that mean? We are collecting e-mail addresses from our library patrons and sending out overdue notices via e-mail rather than through regular U.S. mail. Please make sure we have the most current e-mail address for you on your next visit to the library.
